I believe that everyone of us have done different activities and has enjoyed during the recent holidays from April 21, 2011 until April 24, 2011.

A great appreciation for our employer for lending us some stuffs to read and watch during the vacation. In fact, the evening before the vacation has informed us about it. Eventually, I prefer to borrow movie stuffs related to action-investigatory or depending on the availability of it.

In the evening of April 20, 2011, I started to watch a movie series entitled “INVASION” and of course I also do some task in blogging as part of my daily activities.

I have decided to stay at home during these days doing my part-time tasks which is already late for payment and filing of annual income tax for the year 2010 due to late of submission of documents to me just evening before the deadline. I also do some facebook activities such as hunting promos, discounts, contest and events for bloggers, keeping in touch with friends and relatives and others.

In fact, I missed our fellowship with the church volunteer leaders held in the house of our pastor and his family last April 22, 2011. It is really need to have a fellowship with another not just to hang out but to know each other as part of  spiritual growth and maturity.

On April 23, 2o11, I was so glad for the surprise invitation for the debut of one the volunteer leaders in the church. She just had received a lot of surprises just before and during her 18th birthday celebrating it with gladness and joy for this special day.

April 24, 2011 is a great sunday not just for me but also to other belivers which is an important day for Him glorifying His Name. In the evening, I have received an invitation from a blogger through e-mail  which I immediately confirmed it, an event for the Bank of the Philippine Islands (BPI) Finance Presscon which will be held in Manila Peninsula Hotel on April 26, 2011 after office hours.

Again, thank you so much for the persons who had contributed something whether tangible or tangible in my activities during the vacation.

Tonight, I have written this article in my closet just to share the necessary matters about the relationship between slaves (employees) and masters (employers) with regards to Biblical work ethics and standards that if we apply this into practice it will produces a just and fair workplace.

There are passages in the Bible with regards to business compromises or submission of employees and employers to one another. But, I just want to share a passage regarding this matter found in the book of Ephesians 6:5-9 as follows:

“5Slaves, obey your earthly masters with respect and fear, and with sincerity of heart, just as you would obey Christ. 6Obey them not only to win their favor when their eyes is on you, but like slaves of Christ, doing the will of God from your hear. 7Serve wholeheartedly, as if you were serving the Lord, not men, 8because you know that the Lord will reward everyone for whatever good he does, whether he is slave or free.

9And masters, treat your slaves in the same way. Do not threaten them, since you know that he who is both their Master and yours is in heaven, and there is no favoritism with him.”

We believers should be a testimony to others wherever we are not to be a perfect person because no one is perfect except Him but to be blameless in our every day living.

Our relationship with people is very important. We must guard and watch our attitude in the office one toward another as well as our outreach to the people God sends us to be a witness.

Be reminded in the Golden Rule: “Do to others as you would have them do to you.” (Luke 6:31)
