THE CONVERSE BLOCK PARTY

Last May 28, 2011, I was invited to join the “Converse Block Party” held at the SM Mall of Asia Music Hall together with the bloggers, media and the community to celebrate and achieve worthy goals which is inspired by the classic Fourth of July Block parties, staged by various communities in the US with it’s main aim is to build stronger bonds between neighbors, unite communities, and foster a better relationship with one another.

In the event, CONVERSE brings the entire day of street games, basketball, skateboarding, beat boxing,  graffiti wall, face painting and other activities which had enjoyed by the kids accompanied by their parents, youth, adults and everyone involved.

Prizes and tokens was given away to the winners including the persons who joined the contest and other activities in the said event.

The event is also part of launching the products of Converse such as shoes, apparels, bags, caps and other accessories for men and women with different and unique styles and designs.

I am one of those guys who had bought the products during my 5th grade in elementary (all star shoes for basketball game during Private Schools Athletic Association (PRISAA)) and college days (shirts and casual shoes).

Thank you Converse, sponsors, organizers and everyone involved who made the event possible and successful.
