Artist Jose Rizalino Villan to hold One-Man Show

Calling all art lovers, collectors, students and enthusiast!

The Mamamayang Artistang Taga Antipolo (MATA) is inviting the public to witness the opening of the 4th One-Man Show Art Exhibit featuring the works of one of its member, artist Jose Rizalino S. Villan at Casa Divina in San Isidro, Antipolo City on May 5, 2013 (6:00 pm).  The exhibit will be on display until May 15, 2013.

Villan, a student of the great Ibarra Dela Rosa, the foremost exponent of meticulous impressionism in the Philippines, will showcase his oil and charcoal paintings mostly on rural life and nature. Most of his artworks were inspired by the things he grew up with from the green landscape of Sta. Barbara Iloilo to the busy streets of Quiapo and to his current abode in the ever captivating Antipolo.

He has also invited other members of MATA and artist friends to bring an artwork or two to as a kind gesture of sharing the limelight to the people whom he have worked with for decades.

Villan will make himself available at the art gallery during the 10-day run to personally answer queries from collectors, dealers, buyers and fellow artists.

I Rock with Club New You “Rock The Fat Away” Bloggers Launch

In the past four days, I was invited to attend an event about a healthy lifestyle somewhere in Makati. It has been a couple of months that I’m not attending any events due to conflict of schedules and the reason to prioritize my study and review class these days.

It was a successful event, in deed, learning ideas about health body weights, healthy diets, regular physical activity and taking the whole aspects of our well-being that could help in my every day living.

Club New You “Rock The Fat Away” campaign has a good contribution for advocacy campaign on overweight and obesity in the community. An advocacy for change to lose weight, gain life. Hence, too much fat can kill life.

In the event, I have also enjoyed participating the physical activity or exercise with  a dance routine called “Zumba” that involves dance and aerobic elements with choreography of hip-hop, martial arts, salsa, mambo and others.

It’s all about a dance fitness or zumba fitness that i also need for the development and maintenance of my body as whole against stress, fatigue and others.  I participated the activity wearing rubber shoes, maong pants and t-shirt instead of wearing sporty attire. But it’s ok! What most important is that I did my best and enjoyed in participating the Zumba Fitness.

The event is powered by Roche and Xenical. The company have partnered with the Philippine Association for the Study of Overweight and Obesity (PASOO) to launch a campaign to help you rock your body to a better you.
