OODAThis 14th day of January, 2014, Soyamensa Foods Inc., the new owners and management of the restaurant Goodah!!!, celebrates the Grand Opening of Goodah!!! Metrowalk in Ortigas, Pasig City.
The name Goodah!!! was coined from a popular television ad in the 80’s. In 1983, its first Goodah!!! Restaurant of Goodah Foodhouse Corporation was opened in Greenhills, San Juan and also introduced the Pinoy catchy terms like Tapsi, Tosi, Longsi and the like.
Besides, in 1984, the restaurant became so popular that Tito, Vic and Joey, local comedians and movie stars starred and produced a movie entitled “Goodah!!!. The company opened its 2nd branch in West Avenue, Quezon City in 1988.
In 1990, Goodah Foodhouse Corporation grew to 7 stores with new store design to maximize operational efficiency and provide more open environment for customers and guest to enjoy a hot bowl of goto any time of the day.
Del Sol Foods, Inc. acquired the trademark Goodah!!! from Goodah Foodhouse Corporation in 2005.
In 2009 and up to date, Soyamensa Foods Inc., as the new owner and management aimed for a greater efficiency and adaptation to the changing market.
Goodah!!! is experiencing a massive make-over and expansion program to meet the demands of a growing Philippine market.
Goodah!!! is open 25 hours to cater their guests pagkaing good for every – all with their traditional hot and quickly-served Filipino snacks like ‘goto’, ‘arrozcaldo’, ‘dinuguan’, and ‘pares’ as well as acronym-named ensemble-dishes consisting of a fried rice based (sinangag abbreviated to “si”) and fried eggs (itlog) abbreviated to “log”) combined with companion meats with names like ‘tapsilog’ (tapa, sinangag at itlog), longsilog (longganisa, sinangang at itlog), tocilog (tocino, sinangang at itlog).
